I have combination oily skin. I used this serum once a day in the evening and wore sun protection in the daytime.
Why it works?
Mario Badescu vitamin C serum contains vitamin C at (7.5 %) and hyaluronic acid salt (Sodium Hyaluronate). Sodium hyaluronate is smaller in size compared to hyaluronic acid. Therefore it absorbs better into the skin.
Both sodium hyaluronate and vitamin c reduce signs of ageing. Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid both maintain the elasticity of the skin which reduces wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin as it is a humectant (retains water).

Pros
-Definitely brightened my skin within two weeks of using it.
-My skin developed a glow whilst using this product.
-It has a nice citrus smell.
-It comes with a pipette so it is easy to dispense.
-It comes in an attractive glass amber bottle.
-It reduced the post inflammatory pigmentation on my cheek caused by a spot .
-I found this hydrating possibly because of the sodium hyaluronate and it softened my skin.
Cons
- It contains lavender oil which can be irritating to the skin. Although it did not irritate my skin.
